I knew there was a demand for them, but for a long time, I was reluctant to offer such pieces for sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When I restore an object for someone, there is always a reason for repairing it. In most cases, it is not because the object is particularly valuable. It may have been passed down through a family, used and cherished for many years, or brought home from a journey. What gives the restoration meaning is often the personal memory and attachment the owner has to the object.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But what, then, is the reason for restoring an object in order to sell it?<\/p>\n\n\n\nArtist<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
